Caravana, Headquarters

Carvana designed their new 135,000 SF headquarters to be a fun place to work.  Employees have access to several kitchens and lounge areas offering free snacks and drinks. The adjoining gym allows for basketball and pickle ball, when employees need to build teamwork, or simply blow off steam. Carvana’s mission was to be a “fun tech company”, and create great employee experiences. Mission accomplished.

Jimmy Waters with Arizona Hardwood was asked to recommend a wood floor that would blend with the solid pine used on the walls and ceiling, and also be functional for the half-court basketball area.  Jimmy was already familiar with wooden floors from Junckers from previous projects, and proposed a Junckers hardwood floor in 14mm Ash Harmony. The Ash wood floor was glued down in the cafeteria areas, and as the wood floor continued through into the gym, it transitioned to the Clip System.
